    2. Definitions<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      3. Scope of this Policy<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      This Policy applies to visitors of the legalservice.md website, persons submitting inquiries via electronic contact or consultation forms, persons contacting the firm via telephone, email, or messaging channels, as well as clients and prospective clients of our legal services.<\/span><\/p>\n

      4. Categories of Processed Personal Data<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

      BAA \u201cLegal Service\u201d processes only data strictly necessary for declared legitimate purposes, namely:<\/span><\/p>\n

        Technical browsing data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, time zone, date and time of access, visited pages, and server requests, automatically collected to ensure platform security and stability.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Direct communication data (telephone, email, messaging apps): identification data, contact details, correspondence content, and documents voluntarily transmitted for initial legal review.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        5. Legal Bases and Purposes of Processing<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

        Data processing is carried out pursuant to Law No. 195\/2024 based on the following grounds and purposes:<\/span><\/p>\n

          Pre-contractual steps and performance of legal assistance contracts: handling incoming inquiries, preparing professional fee proposals, communicating with clients, and rendering contracted advocacy services.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Compliance with legal obligations: maintaining professional and accounting records, file archiving, and adhering to regulatory standards governing the legal profession and taxation in the Republic of Moldova.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Legitimate interest of the Controller: ensuring cybersecurity of web infrastructure, preventing abusive traffic or technical threats, and optimizing platform performance.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Consent of the data subject: when utilizing non-essential (analytical\/statistical) cookies or other operations where explicit consent is mandated by law.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          6. Recipients of Personal Data<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

          Your data may be disclosed strictly to the extent necessary to the following recipients:<\/span><\/p>\n

            Technical and IT service providers (web hosting, maintenance, IT security) acting as data processors under strict confidentiality obligations;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            Public authorities, courts of law, or law enforcement bodies, strictly in cases provided by the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            BAA \u201cLegal Service\u201d does not sell, lease, or transfer your personal data to third parties for commercial marketing purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n

            7. Data Retention Period<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

            Data collected via contact forms that do not result in a legal assistance contract are retained for the duration necessary to handle and clarify the inquiry. Data related to executed legal contracts are retained for the term of representation and thereafter in accordance with statutory limitation and bar archiving regulations in Moldova. Web server logs are periodically purged or anonymized in accordance with IT security policies.<\/span><\/p>\n

            8. Your Rights Under Law No. 195\/2024<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

            As a data subject, you hold the following statutory rights:<\/span><\/p>\n

              Right of access (Art. 15): right to obtain confirmation and a copy of your processed personal data;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Right to restriction of processing: right to restrict processing under conditions set by law;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Right to data portability: right to receive provided data in a structured, machine-readable format;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Right to object (Art. 21): right to object to processing grounded on legitimate interests;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Right not to be subject to automated decision-making (Art. 22): guarantee against decisions made solely by automated means\/profiling without human intervention;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): exercisable at any time without affecting prior lawful processing;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Right to lodge a complaint: with the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP) or the competent court of law.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Requests regarding the exercise of rights may be submitted via email to info.legalservice.md@gmail.com or by post to the registered office of BAA \u201cLegal Service\u201d. Responses are provided free of charge, without undue delay, and within one month of receipt (extendable by two additional months in complex cases under Art. 12(3) of Law No. 195\/2024).<\/span><\/p>\n

              9. Automated Decision-Making<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

              BAA \u201cLegal Service\u201d does not employ automated decision-making systems or profiling generating legal effects concerning data subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n
